Great food at a small and intimate restaurant. The food was fresh and authentic, and generous portions. The restaurant decor was a bit basic but it’s very clean and bright.
Always a lovely visit here with my partner. Highly recommend the seabass full of flavour and so fresh! Kudos to the chefs. My partner always opts for his favourite seafood pasta and we have never been disappointed yet. We hope to book in valentines weekend with some luck. Our first visit to Buon Gusto and we will definitely come back the next time we visit Harrogate! Chose to visit based on other Google reviews and really pleased that we did! 5* food, service, and atmosphere all round. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this fabulous restaurant. Second time visiting, hard to fault. Service, price etc was excellent, quality of food was also very good. If i was pedantic, I would say the Gnocchi alla Sorrentina was lacking in tomatoes. It is designed to be very cheesy but it needs more tomatoes to balance the flavours. Overall though a nice experience. And would still recommend this restaurant.
Despite being small, Buon Gusto makes up for its size with on-point service, a well-decorated enterior, and filling food! Upon entering, it's a beautiful atmosphere with a bar head-on and modern furnished seating areas. The staff are welcoming and friendly - quick to seat customers and take their orders. We ordered off the set 2 course priced at 18.99 and, for our first time visiting, we had low expectations. However, we were quickly blown away! Usually, in finer restaurants like this, I expect the portions of set menus to be dainty, but they were filling, well-presented, and truly delicious! And the mains..! You can definitely expect to get your moneys worth with their dishes as the portions are BIG! Me and my family struggled to get through the last mouthfuls, and we even heard a table behind us remark about how filling they were. We couldn't resist but force room and order a dessert! Would definitely recommend it.
We went to Buon Gusto on Monday evening for the first time as we were visiting Harrogate after a long time. Pizza was very good with fresh ingredients and cooked perfectly the minestrone soup was full of vegetables and very tasty. A warm clean and welcoming environment with excellent service thoroughly enjoyed our time and we will sure to go back again.
5* all round with our experience! The staff were so so lovely and very funny! Our food was amazing! Pasta& pizza combo was unreal! We even treated ourselves to pudding and they were super delish! This was our first time and we will be back for sure!
